I'm not really following your suggestion.

Last year in KW people felt like they could vote GPC because of the popular catchphrase "Telegdi always wins." And in Kitchener-Centre "Redman always wins." And so, soft Liberals voted Green or felt something mushy and voted NDP. Karen Redman and Andrew Telegdi nearly lost a combined 18,000 votes between the two of them from 06 to 08. The CPC votes, on the other hand, bumped only slightly. Meaning, Liberals sat at home or voted elsewhere.

I'd really love to see KW and KC flip Liberal again. The people of KW deserve much better than the hacks they have representing them now.Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16984468805919067190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2946942062204448159.post-67391647565526861382011-04-07T19:58:23.154-04:002011-04-07T19:58:23.154-04:00I say Kitchener Waterloo is a better fit to trade....I say Kitchener Waterloo is a better fit to trade. The vote here was only 14 votes higher for the Conservative riding against the Liberals. I know of a few people that would gladly vote Liberal here to help out Elizabeth May out in her riding. If there was only twenty percent for the Liberals in that riding it's not like the Liberals are losing a critical piece of their strategy. Kitchener Center has a fantastic Liberal candidate. I think this would be a great fit. Heck maybe the liberals could get both ridings for one Green. Anyone from the Liberal camp thinking this way?Willynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2946942062204448159.post-33275563133367326652011-03-29T20:57:16.809-04:002011-03-29T20:57:16.809-04:00No it wouldn't. The only solution is to elect Renée Hetherington and oust Gary Lunn.Owner and Doggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02872116848263779349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2946942062204448159.post-67551902137658604502011-03-29T20:52:19.879-04:002011-03-29T20:52:19.879-04:00The Liberals are the only one's to replace the...The Liberals are the only one's to replace the Conservatives, but we need IRV or BC-STV reforms of our democracy in order to make the house of commons represent the public opinion better. In 2008 the Green party got 1 million votes, but not one signal seat in Canada. And the Liberals would benefit by not putting a Liberal candidate in her riding as it would eliminate a conservative. I am no a green party person, But i believe in eliminating a conservative in BC and electing a new Liberal in Ontario.vanillamanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08385749975343350948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2946942062204448159.post-83593943201868570662011-03-29T08:57:54.182-04:002011-03-29T08:57:54.182-04:00The Green are not going away, learn to deal with t...The Green are not going away, learn to deal with them fairly or its going to be ugly for a long time.

Greens would go for your deal and probably offer to expand it. Grey bruce I believe is with striking distance for example we'd surely give a 905 for that.

Even better start promoting real voting reform to a system that ensures fair PR and the bloc will be marginalized and no longer the coalition boogey man to scare the rubes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2946942062204448159.post-62208035456879464982011-03-29T07:36:13.746-04:002011-03-29T07:36:13.746-04:00True.
