Tea Party leader rasict

The tea party leader, Mark Williams blogged about a new mosque, and a new Islamic cultural center near ground zero. He said the mosque would be a place where the Muslims would pray to there "terrorists monkey-god." I think this is racist for him to say such a thing about another religion and for trying to make the connection between Islam and terrorism is just horrific. I think we can all agree that Mark Williams should apologize, but he sent an email to the media saying that he wasn't sorry. He even said that he meant to connect terrorism and Islam. Mark is setting a bad example for the tea party, and I can speak for many people when saying that racism should have no part in a democratic country.
"The monument would consist of a Mosque for the worship of the terrorists' monkey-god," Williams, a frequent guest on CNN, wrote on his Web site
In an e-mail to the Daily News, Williams was unapologetic - saying his comments were specifically aimed at the terrorists, which he described as "the animals of Allah."

  1. Islam is a race? I missed the memo.

  2. If you haven't made the connection between Islam and terrorism by now, then you have been living under a rock for the past decade.

  3. anonymous not all people who believe in Islam are terrorist and the fact that you would try to make that connection proves how are world can still be racists, and also not all terrorist are Muslim.

  4. So, if somebody slams Christians, they are being racist? Come on.

  5. All that needs to be asked of the mosque builders is that if the Burj Khalifa was destroyed by Christians, would it be ok to build a cathedral next to the hole? You know, in the name of reconciliation and all that.

  6. Doesn't racism sort of assume that he said something about a race of one type or another? I think he is talking about Islam, which is of course a religion and not a race. Moreover, I think that he is talking about a certain brand of that religion, i.e. the terrorist leaning factions of it.

It scares me that you think it's horrific to link terrorism to Islam. Countless terrorist attacks take place everyday in the name of Islam. Of course this doesn't mean that every Muslim is a terrorist, however, simply sticking your head in the sand and plugging your ears and shouting "I can't hear you!" isn't going to change the fact that it was in the name of Islam that 19 men hijacked and flew planes into buildings 9 years ago. In fact, the building that currently occupies the plot of land that is to be used for the mosque was damaged by the landing gear from one of the planes on 9/11. Classy.

  7. Was it in the name of Islam, or in the name of some radical ideology the terrorists call Islam? The truth is, Islam promotes peace and there is nothing wrong with having a mosque near the site. If the group in charge of the project was the best competitor, then they should get to do whatever they want with the land.

  8. Moslems are racist! They sacrifice their children, they murder women and children, they have no mercy for human life. This is their religion and their beliefs. Criticizing the religion is not racist. How do you liberal peace lovers not see the evil in these people?? Stop turning your checks. Look at what Islam is actually doing. pay attention.

  9. Big mama I do not know what century you are living in, because not all Muslims believe what you have described. They are not all racists and it is very immature to make Islam seem that way, and I think you need to actually pay attention because you are being completely racists.
