Typing: a Waste of Time?
It is a complete waste of time to force kids to type pieces of writing themselves. First of all, children would type one letter at a time and be very slow. It could take 30 minutes for a kid who hasn't learned to type, while an adult could type something in 5 minutes. While they are typing, the kids could be doing many other activities such as board games, sports, reading and other homework. If kids don't type for a long time, they would have more chances to lead a healthier lifestyle. Teachers shouldn't force kids to type pieces of writing themselves.

Memorizing multiplication tables is a much more relaxing activity than typing. We should all have to memorize multiplication up to 25 X 25 as a form of mental exercise!
