Tories are switching their tune

After Harper prorogued parliament he said it will not be a big issue to Canadians. Now industry minster Tony Clement said, "I know it's a big issue with the Ottawa media elite and some of the elites in our country." Now the Conservatives say they are working hard, and that they want to take the spring brake for parliament eliminated. Harper should know that you can work just as hard or even more in Parliament. The Tories want to get rid of the spring vacation. Now, I am all in favor of making our politicians work more but this a planed vacation which means it was in the calendar a long time now, and instead of getting rid of this vacation you could just simply not have prorogued Parliament.

  2. Unfortunately for the Liberals the sitting government had no choice, but to prorogue so that the Senate Committees could be reconstituted after the appointment of the five new Senators, removing the obstructionist Liberals from being the majority in the Senate and also replacing the Liberals who were the chairs of the committees.

When the Throne Speech is given and then the next Budget is introduced the Opposition has the option of voting against, if they have balls.

And all of those recent polls, if you believe those then you also believe in fairy tales and unicorns.

    Bring it on.

  3. so do you think that the prime minster can just prorogue Parliament to make political gain just because you do not like the Liberals in the senate.
and if you think that the Conservatives can win easy in the next election than your the one living in the fairy tales
