You know there is something wrong with the airport security system when a loaded handgun passes unnoticed through the carry-on screening process. Yet, that is exactly what happened last year, when a Houston businessman forgot to remove it from his bag. This makes me wonder why we are investing in the fancy naked body scanners that invade our privacy, when someone could walk onto an airplane with a gun. And it's not an isolated incident, according to a whistleblower. The failure rate for screening at some airports is70%! If this is true, then it is time to stop trying to invade people's privacy and get back to the basics: making sure that no dangerous items, such as a gun, are brought aboard a plane.

I guess this proves that if you are from Houston, it is assumed you are an oil man, and you are allowed to bring any little thing you want into Canada. On the other hand, if you are a little guy from the States, you get the full body search.
