In 2012 the fight for the Republican nomination will be a fight to see. With many politicians already looking like they might run. with many of them saying that they will make there decision soon. One person that's funny to here is Donald Trump who is thinking of running. A definite front runner is Sarah Palin who looks like she will run with a new TV show a book out and campaigning in the last midterm that helped many Tea Party Candidates winning there primaries. Mitt Romney also campaigned in the last midterm election, and looks like he might run he also ran last time in 2008. Huckabee would be a good contender considering a poll shows he would beat Obama in a nation wide vote. Another Candidate could be the former house speaker Newt Gingrich who has been very politically active in the last midterm even speculated of running in 2008. In the U.S the first few primary/caucus states usually pick the winner of the primaries. Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina have traditionally started first. In Iowa in 2008 it voted for Huckabee over Mitt Romney by 10% polls from many moth's ago show Huckabee still having a 4% lead over Romney( which makes it a statistical tie). In New Hampshire that went to McCain last time, but now In a poll shows that in a hypothetical match up with Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin and Huckabee (and many other candidates)Romney would smash the competition with 39% vs. 16% Sarah Palin. In Nevada Romney last time dominated the election with 37% lead over the next candidate, and this time his lead isn't as big only if Newt Gingrich runs, but his lead is still 34% Romney vs. 21% newt Gingrich. In South Carolina it's piratically a four way tie between Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich and Palin.

Palin can't win a national contest, she alienates the independent vote which is crucial.
ReplyDeleteShe's toast, it'll be Huck or Mitt or someone who we haven't heard of yet (e.g. Mitch Daniels)
Representative Giffords was nearly assassinated, and five people were killed, because Palin had this poor woman on her crosshair target list:
ReplyDelete“we're on Sarah Palin's targeted list, but the thing is, that the way that she has it depicted has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district. When people do that, they have to realize that there are consequences to that action,” Giffords said in an interview with MSNBC.
Who else will she help kill? Has she apologized?!
Anonymous don't put Sarah Palin into this. People died and a congresswoman got shot. Don't try to connect this and go into consipiracy theories. Sarah Palin did nothing wrong with regards to this. Don't point a figure at Sarah palin for something you have no true proof for.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin "Don't retreat, reload"
ReplyDeleteWhatever you say vanillaman.
Uh, what I said Sarah Palin did is factual. Do you even read the news? She had it on the internet. Defend her if you like, I have no problem with that, but do it with the truth not lies.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, in addition to the cross-hairs the Sarah Palin site stated, in putting these politicians on her target list, "Don't Retreat, Instead - RELOAD!" It was shameful.
ReplyDeleteThere is little doubt that the level of public discord in American politics contributed to this incident. There are those on the left and right that have contributed to this lowering. However, one of the leaders of this on the right is Sarah Palin. She should not be defended for her actions, she should be condemned. She represents what is wrong with American politics!
ReplyDeleteThe tea party and Sarah Palin don't support this act. This person ho did this horrific act had should not have the opprotunity to blame other people for why he did the action as an excuse, and about the cross hairs every campaign does this kind of stuff. You can't possibly try to relate this with what happens.
