Domestic Cap-and-trade
The U.S. is talking about if they want to impliment a cap-and-trade system. I, unlike Owner and Doggy, do support a cap and trade system, but I believe only in domestic cap and trade. This is a diffrent system than the cap-and-trade system many people are talking about. I believe that domestic cap-and-trade companies in Canada are allowed to get a carbon credit, and are only allowed to sell to Canadian companies. So this way, Canada will decrease its carbon emissions. There should also be a limit on how many carbon credits a company can buy. So this way, the big oil and big gas can't just buy instead of reducing. In this system, Canadian companies in Canada will that reduce their emissions will now have more money to improve there company for the future.
