Shuttle Bus

The STM will launch a new shuttle bus connecting downtown and Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport on March 29. It’s name will be the 747 Airport express. What a pun! (Boeing 747.) Anyway, this service will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week arriving very often. It costs seven dollars a ticket, but also received is unlimited access to the network for 24 hours after buying the ticket. Holders of passes get on free. Great idea, but a lousy bus doesn’t replace the shuttle train that attracts more people, pollutes less, moves faster and is simply, better. This is only a temporary solution until the rail connection is in place. It’s time the government gets moving on the rail connection. It is only for the better.

  1. I think the bus is at least a sign of progress in the right direction. You shouldn't call it a "lousy" bus.
