Finance Minister Jim Flaherty wants to sell off some of the Crown assets. These assets could include the CBC and Via Rail. It’s obvious why the Conservatives would want privatize CBC. It’s run by the government and they are against spending. However, the CBC runs a television and radio service with many great shows such as Dragons’ Den. CBC news is trusted by many as a corporation that can be trusted. By selling off the CBC, the Tories will be selling off our heritage and a part of Canada. We cannot let this happen.
That's right. It's our own and we can't let it be taken away.

The only thing that will save this country is a revolution.
ReplyDeleteCBC and the rest of our government should not be for sale by a bunch of Radical Religious Right hacks.
They want to get rid of the CBC? Fine with me...no one watches it anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe CBC largely produces unwatchable TV. It should not be sold off. It should be dismantled and destroyed never to be resurrected. The original rationale for a state broadcaster 80 or 90 years ago - ensuring all Candians had access to radio - no longer exists. A multitude of media are available to all Canadians - satellite, TV, internet, even the dead tree print media. Save the $1.1 Billion and reduce the deficit.
ReplyDeleteCBC ratings are bad. It's news division is biased.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a great idea to sell it. Let it be biased in private.
The news anchors on cbc dress like militant homeless. For 1.1 billion they should be able to shop elsewhere than Value Village.
ReplyDeleteI do not know how you can put up with these Con trolls, who are so uneducated, it is cruel to read.
ReplyDeletecon trolls out in force I see.
ReplyDeleteHey you simp Anonymous Liberal parrots:
ReplyDeleteJust because some people don't agree with your viewpoint doesn't make them a "troll." Try reading a dictionary...if you can.
